Etymology: Tianyi, ancient country name for Ningcheng, Inner Mongolia, China.

Material:

IVPP V 15521: Nearly complete specimen with polydactyly. Right pes has 4 toes (metatarsals) with a reduced phalangeal formual (brachydactyly), ?2-2-2-2, left pes has a total of 8 digits, with a phalangeal forluma of 2-2-2-2-3-3-3-3

 IVPP V 16107A, B: Nearly complete speicmen with polydactyly, both pes has 6 digits (left 20203030403, and right 2-2-3-3-3-?), the right manus has forud digits with an additional phalanx on the fourth digit (2-2-3-3).

IVPP V 16370A:  Incomplete specimen preserving only the back half of the skeleton, with polydactyly, the left pes is normal (202030303), but the right has 6 digits (202030303030, post-axial addition).

IVPP  V 16372: Incomplete specimen with the last 2 digits on the right pess (20203030303) diverge from the other four to creat a bifid pes.

 IVPP V 16373A, B: Nearly complete specimen, with extra right hind limbs, the second right limb smaller than the first.

IVPP  V 17099A, B: Nearly complete specimens with supernumerary limbs. normal front limbs with 4 digits (right 2-2-3-2, and the right with an extra phalange, 2-2-3-3), and three hind limbs.

IVPP V 16371A, B: Nearly complete specimen with polydactyle, right manus has five digits (2-?-?-2+-1+), both pedes have sixe digit, right is 2-2-3-3-3-3.

 IVPP V 10714A, B: Nearly complete specimens, with polydactyly, each pes has six digits (left 2-2-3-3-3-3, and right 2-2-3-3-3-?).

IVPP V 16108A, B (layer 3): Nearly complete specimne with polydactyly, 5 digits on teh left manys with a phalangeal formula 2-2-3-2-?. Left hind limb slightly shorter (reduced femur), and six digits on the pes, with a phangula formula of 2-2-2-2-2-2-2, the right pes has five digits (2-2-3-2+-3).

IVPP V 16109A, B (layer 4): Nearly complete specimen with polydactyly, the right and left  manus both have 5 dibits (2-2-3-2-1), the right hind limb is compressed onto the tail, and seems to have 5 digits, the left pes has six digits (2-2-3-3-3-2), the first four of these digits are separted form teh other two to produce a strongly bifid pes.

IVPP V 16368 (layer 5): Nearly complete specimen with normah haind limbs (pedal phalangeal formula 2-2-3-3-3), but the right manus has five digits instead of four (2-2-3-3-2).
