Etymology: Latin, gratia, "gracile," refering to the delicate skeleton.

Locality: Northeastern fringe of the Araripe Basin, near the town of Crato, Estado de Ceara, Ceara State, Northeastern Brazil.

Horizon: Crato Formation, Araripe Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Aptian-Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Articulated postmetamorphic, but possibly juvenile, individual.
