Etymology: In honor of the State of New Jersey, the location of the Ellisdale
site and the currently known range limit of the species.
Holotype: NJSM 16609
Locality: Ellisdale Site, Quarry “B”, Quarry “C”, Logjam Quarry, Easter Quarry, southwest of Allentown, in Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Horizon: Basal Marshalltown Formation, Matawan Group.
Biostratigraphy:
