Etymology: Latin, parvus, "little, small"; is used in refernect to the small size of the holotype and referred specimens.

Age: Comobluffian age, Kimmeridgian Stage, uppermost Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.

Material: Associated vertebral column, urostyle, and left scapula.
