Locality: Left bank of the Menamaty River, east of the small village of Ranohira, at the base of the Isalo Mountains, Madagascar.

Horizon: Lower Sakamena Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Permian.

Material: Fragmentary skulls and fragmentary postcranial skeletons of at least two different genera.
