Horizon: Dzun-Bayin Formation, Huhteeg Gorizont, Zuubayan Svita.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Aptian/Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
Note: Large lake deposit.

Material: Postcranial remains.

Etymology: Name after the lake Baikal.

Holotype: PIN 2234/201

Locality: Mogoito Locality (“Kkan’on” ravine), western shore of Lake Gusinoe, near Lake Baikal, approximately 100 km southwest of Ulan-Ude, Burjatija State, N51°12', E106°17', western Transbaikalia, Asian Russia.

Horizon: Mogoito Member, Murtoi Formation.
Note: Incorrectly referred to the Ubukunskaya Svita, Ubukon Formation (SKUTSCHAS, 2008).

Age: Upper Barremian-Middle Albian Stage, Gallic Subepoch, Early Cretaceous Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.
