Genus: Langeronyx EZCURRA, MONTEFELTRO, &

Etymology: In honor of the Brazilina paleontologist Max Cardos Langer, in
recognition of his research on rhynchosaurs, and Greek, onyx, "claw," which is
commonly applied to Rhynchosaurs.

Age: Anisian Stage, Lower Mid Triassic epoch, Middle Triassic.
Material: Partial skull, including snout, maxilla and orbital area back to the anterior areas of the temporal fenestrae.
