Etymology:
Holotype: BMNH 38646
Locality: Heslach, near Stuttgart (Strobel and Wurm 1977) ' on the other side of the valley' from the site of an earlier dinosaur find (Meyer 1861). Possibly the old quarry centered at 35 105 54 007 (map sheet 7220), labeled 'Stbr." (Steinbruch, quarry); now filled and used as a Sportplatz, Baden-Wurttemberg State, Germany.
Horizon: Middle Stubensandstein, Middle Keuper.

Material: Right maxilla, fragments of 7 teeth are preserved in one form or another.
