Locality: NE 1/4, NE 1/4, sec. 30, T24N, R3E, near the base of Mesa Prieta, west side of entrance of Chama River into Abiquiu Reservoir, Rio Arriba County, North-Central New Mexico.

Horizon: Lower Painted Desert Member, Middle Upper Petrified Forest Formation, Chinle Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Revueltian, Early Norian Substage, Early Norian Epoch, Middle Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Portions of postcranial skeleton preserved on several blocks of matrix: greater portions of three dorsal vertebrae with fused ribs and the neural arch and spine of a fourth; articulated series of three sacral and first sacral and first caudal vertebra; articulated series of 26 complete caudal vertebrae and haemal arch of preceding vertebra; mostly articulated right partial manus that includes greater portions of second through fifth digits and their respective metatarsals; associated terminal and preceding phalanges of left manus; distal portions of tibia and fibula and most of pes of articulated right hindlimb on counterpart blocks; distal end of femur, most of the tibia and fibula, partial calcaneum, and several phalanges of articulated left hindlimb; several fragments of vertebrae, ribs, and limbs elements on several blocks.
