Etymology:

Holotype: PIN 2584-4

Locality: Site 14, Dzhailyau-Cho, Madygen area, Lyailyakskii District, Osh Province, Turkestan Range, Southern Fergana, Kyrgyzstan (Kirghizia).

Horizon: Madygen Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Ladinian Stage, Mid Triassic Epoch-Carnian Stage, Lower Late Triassic Epoch, Middle to Late Triassic.

Material: Skull missing tip of snout, fragmentary skeleton, dorsal appendages (feathers?), and scales.

Possible explanation for the skeleton. I believe the skeleton is actually curving around and only half the specimen is exposed.
