Etymology: Greek, maio, "May", in honor of Bill may, arguably the greatest contributor to the collection of fssils from Dolese Brothers limestone Quarry near Richards Spur, and Greek, thisavros, "treasure."

Etymology: In honor of Diane Scott for her dedication to teh field of paleontology over her more than 4-decade long career.

Locality: Fort Sill, OMNH Locality V51, Dolese Brothers limestone quarry at Richards Spur, Fissure Fills, just west of U.S. Highways 62 & 281, 10.5 miles south of Apache, 6 miles north of Fort Sill, SW 1/2, Sec. 31, T4N, R11W, Comanche County, Oklahoma.

Horizon: Willington Formation (Garber Formation), Summer Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Leonardian stage, upper Rotliegendes Epoch, Early Permian.

Material: Anterior region of skull and mandible.

ROMVP 87368: Right dentary with resorption pits visible for 2 teeth in positions 8 and 9.

ROMVP 87369: Right dentary with 2 replacment teeth vislbiel in positions 14 and 16.
