Holotype: SAM 10628 (previously Tanganyika Geological Survey Stockley number S342 and S350):

Locality: B18, below and east of Kingori, Tanganyika, Tanzania, East Africa.

Horizon:

Biostratigraphy: Cistecephalus zone.

Age: Tatarian Age, Lopingian Subepoch, Zechstein Epoch, Late Permian.

Material: Distal ends of right and left humeri of a juvenile.

Referred material:

S 350: Left humerus.
