Holotype: Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales, 18.055

Locality: 2 km north of Agua de la Pena, Ischigualasto Valley, Department of Valle Fertil, San Juan Province, Argentina.

Horizon: Lower Ischigualsto Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Carnian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Skull and fragmentary skeleton.
