Holotype: ZDM 0019

Locality: Pentang, Yinhe, Jinquan (Zhongquan) County, Zigong, Sichuan Province, China.

Horizon: Upper Shangshaximiao Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Oxfordian Stage, Lower Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.

Material: Pair of complete lower jaws, associated 8 cervicals, 16 dorsals and 4 sacral vertebrae, some anterior caudals, some girdles and limbs, some dermal plates, 4 small scutes, a pair of parasacapular spines, and a piece of skin impression near the right parascapular spine.

A) Skeleton with shoulder spine facing upward; B) faceing downward as is the mounted skeleton.
