Etymology: From Mongolian Saichan “beautiful”.

Species: chulsanensis MARYANSKA, 1977
Etymology: In reference to Khulsan, where the specimen was found.

Holotype: GI SPS 100/151

Locality: Khulsan, Nemegt basin, Ömnögov (South Gobi), Mongolia.

Horizon: Barun Goyot Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle –Late Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous..

Material: Skull and anterior part of postcranial skeleton, complete cervical and dorsal vertebrae, shoulder girdle, forelimb, and armor in natural arrangements.

Cervical half ring.
