Etymology: In reference to the locality, an open pit bauxite mine, Iharkut, Bakony Mountains, Hungary.

Species: mindszentyae DYKE & OSI, 2010
Etymology: In honor of Attila Osi's professsor and advisor Andrea Mindszenty in grateful recognition of her work and help with the Iharkut Research Progam.

Holotype: MTM V 2009.38.1 (originally MTM Gyn 439)

Locality: Iharkut, Bakony Mountains, Hungary.

Horizon: Csehbanya Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Santonian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Almost complete right tarsometatarsus lacking the proximal-most portion of metatarsal II (cotyla medialis)(size of a thrush).
