Etymology: In honor of Harry Govier Seeley (1839-1909) who, while an assistant for 10 years to teh Rev. Adam Sedgwick at the Woodwardian Museum, gathered together numerous bones from the Cambridge Greensand, and who also described the bones of Enaliornis and many others of pterosaurs and dinosaurs from the Cambridge Greensand.
