Biostratigraphy: Pistacosaurus fauna, Cathayornis-Chaoyanga Avifauna.

Age: Barremian Stage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Lower Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Skull and nearly complete skeleton.

Etymology: Latin, palma, "palm" and Latin, penis, "tail"; referring to the palm like appearance of the preserved rectices.

Holotype: SDM 20090109.1 (part), SDM 20090109.2 (counterpart)

Locality: Jianchang Locality, Jianchang County, northwestern Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Jiufotang Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Barremian Stage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Lower Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Nearly complete skull, and skeleton missing pectoral girdle, wings, and ribs.

Etymology: Latin, curvus, "curved" and Latin, pes, "foot"; in reference to the lateral deviation of the distal part of the metatarsals in YFGP-yb2.

Holotype: YFGP-yb2

Locality: Yizhou Fossil and Geology Park, Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Dakanpu Member (equivalent to the Dawangzhangzi beds), Yixian Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Lower Aptian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: An almost completely articulated skeleton including a partial caudal series.
