Etymology: In honor of the late Lev. A. NESOV, paleontologist from Saint-Petersburg, in recognition of his contribution to the understanding of the palaeontology of Eurasia, and Greek, ornis, “bird”: Lev A. Nesov’s bird.

Locality: Locality CBI-14, Dzhyrakuk, Kizylkum Desert, Navoi District, Bukhara Region, Uzbekistan.

Horizon: Bissekty Formation.

Age: Coniacian Stage, Lower Senonian Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Cranial half of the synsacrum.
