Etymology: In honor of its discoverer, Mr. Han.

Holotype: IVPP V 11309

Locality: Jinzhou City, Yixian County, Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Yixian Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Cretaceous.

Material: Nearly complete skull, skeleton and feather impressions.
