Locality: South of the Smoky Hill River, Western Logan County, Kansas.

Horizon: Smoky Hill Chalk, Niobrara Formation, approximately 2 m above Marker Unit and about 4.2 below the contact with the Pierre Shale.

Biostratigraphy: Near the top of the biostratigraphic zone of Hesperornis (Stewart, 1990), within the Scaphites hippocrepis Ammonite Zone.

Age: Lower Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material:

FHSM VP-17312: Complete and well preserved right tarsometatarsus.
