Etymology: In reference to Crosby County, Texas, which yielded the type specimen, and Greek, sauros, ‘lizard’: Crosby lizard.

Etymology: In honor of Susan Harris, who picked the vast majority of all NMMNH microvertebrate specimens from the Tecovas Formation.

Age: Upper Otischalkian, Late Carnian Stage, Lower Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: A nearly complete tooth crown.

Material:

NMMNH P-26396: Numerous fragments of graduated ornithischian teeth.

NMMNH P-34408: A worn, incomplete tooth crown with root that is very similar to P-34404.

NMMNH P-34409: A low conical, laterally compressed tooth with very coarse compound denticles basally and relatively few fine denticles apically.
