Etymology: In honor of “Dooly the Little dinosaur”, an iconic Korean cartoon baby dinosaur character created by Soo-Jun Kim in 1983, and Greek, sauros, “lizard.”

Etymology: In honor of Professor Dr. Min Huh, a paleontologist who conducted research on a theropod fossil nest from the Aphaedo site, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the study of dinosaurs in Korea over the past 30 years.

Holotype: KDRC-SA-V001

Locality: Aphaedo site, Aphae Island, Shinan, Republic of South Korea.

Horizon: Ilseongsan Formation.

Age: Albian Stage, Gallic Subepoch, Late Early Cretaceous Epoch, Late Early Cretaceous-Cenomanian Stage, Lates Gallic Subpoch, Early Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material: Dentary, maxilla, maxillary and denary teeth, quadrate, supraoccipital, fused exoccipital/opisthotic, basioccipital, basisphenoid, dorsal vertebrae, ribs, tibia, fibula, femur, metatarsals and pedal phalnages.
