Genus: Foskeia DIEUDONNE, BECERRA, ZANESCO, TORTOSA, CRUZADO-CABALLERO, STEIN & FERNANDEZ-BALDOR, 2026
Etymology: Greek, fos, “light”, in reference to the very lightweight adn small body size of grown individuals. skei derives from boskein, "foraging". This is given in reference to the presumed specialized feeding ecology of this new taxon, with the characteristic loss of functional teeth at the front of the snout (i.e. the recognition fo two precumbent premaxillary teeth adn at least oen filiform anterior dentary tooth).

Etymology: In reference to the Pelendones, a Celtiberiantribe from the Fuentes del Duero (norh of the province of Soria, southeast of Burgos and perhaps the southeast of La Roja).
