Genus: Gremlin RYAN, MICUCCI, RIZO, SULLIVAN, LEE & EVANS, 2023
Etymology: The generic name refers to a small, troublesome, imaginary cretature blamed by early 20th century aviators for mysterious mechanical faults (Massinger 1944).

Etymology: In honor of Ed and Wendy Sloboda for thier contriubtions to Albertan palaeontology, and Wendy for having discovered the holotype.

Holotype: RTMP 2011.053.0027

Locality: South Pinhorn Grazing Reserve, 49°04'43"N, 110°51'19"W, Cypress County, southeastern Alberta Province, Canada.

Horizon: Oldman Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Judithian age, Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: An incomplete frontal lacking a portion of the anterolateral margin.
