Etymology: Genus name from Ischium and Latinzed Greek, ceratops, "horn-face": in
reference to the unique morphology of the ischium.

Etymology: In reference to Zhucheng, where the holotype specimen was discovered.
Holotype: ZCDM V--16
Locality: Kugou, Zhucheng County, Shandong Province, China.
Horizon: Wangshi River Group.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Late Cretaceous.
Material: Entire sacrum, a few ossified tendons, boht halves of the pelvis, the anteriormost 15 caudal vertebrae in an articulated series and the right femur, tibia and fibula.
