Etymology: Transaxiana, an ancient name of the lands beyond (trans) the Amu Darya River (Oxus), corresponding to present-day Uzbekistan.

Locality: Dzharakuduk, Navoi Violyat District, central Kyzylkum Desert, Uzbekistan.

Horizon: Bissekty Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle-Late Turonian Stage, Uppermost Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Postorbital region of skull roof with nearly complete braincase.
