Etymology: Laitn, orientalis, "eastern or from the east."

Locality: Khamarin-Khural, 30 kilometers due South of Buyant-Ukhaa, in Dornogov’ Eastern Gobi Province, Mongolia.
Horizon: Dzuun Bayan Svita, = Ondai Sair Formation/Oshih Formation.
Age: Barremian/Aptian Stage, Gallic Subepoch, Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
Material: Right maxilla, left scapula, several rib fragments, vertebral neural arch fragments, portion of right posterior premaxillary ramus, distal metatarsal fragment, partial right nasal.
