Etymology:
Greek, pareisaktos, "intruder." It refers to this species being knonw from a single element found amidst hundres of hadrosaurid bones.

Greek, evrostos, "robust." In reference to the great mediolateral thickness of the proximal extend of the scapula and massive build of the deltoid ridge.
Holotype: MCD 5371
Locality: Basturs Poble, near the village of the same name, eastern Trmep Syncline, Lleida Province, northeastern Spain.
Horizon: Conques Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Upper Lower Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Latest Gulf Epoch, Latest Cretaceous.
Material: Nearly complete left scapula.
