Etymology:
Holotype: CLGRP V00016
Locality: Zhengyang area, Qianjiang District, Chongqing Municipality, southwest China.
Horizon: Uppermost part of the Zhengyang Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Santonian Stage, Early Senonian Subepoch, Early Gulf Epoch, Early Late Cretaceous.
Material: An incomplete, partially articulated skeleton, including only two skull elements (i.e., the predentary and left dentary), 4 dorsal vertebrae, the sacrum, anterior and middle caudal series with chevrons, right ilium, left pubis, ischia and left femur, tibiae, left figula, the left astragalus, left metatarsal II and III and right metatarsal VI.
