Etymology: From Siam, the ancient name of Thialand and Greek, odon, "tooth";
the spelling of odon is used to denote similarites with Iguanodno.
Species: nimngami BUFFETAUT & SUTEETHORN, 2011
Etymology: In honor of Mr. Withaya Nimngam, who kindly donated the specimens.
Holotype: PRC-4
Locality: Ban Saphan Hin, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, northeastern Thailand.
Horizon: Khok Kraut Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Aptian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
Material: Left maxilla bearing several teeth.
Referred material:
PRC-5: An isolated maxillary tooth.
PRC-6: Braincase.
