Etymology: In reference to "bones of the atacamenians" in Kunza, the language of the original indigenous people of the Atacama Region, Argentina.

Holotype: SNGM-1/1-23

Locality: La Higuera ravine, approximatly 75 km south of Copiapo city, Atacama Region, Northern Chile.

Horizon: Lower to middle levels of the Hornitos Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Campanian-Maastrichtian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: 2 cervical centra, 2 anterior dorsal neural arches, posteior dorsal neural arch, 3 dorsal centra, right humerus, left ischium, left femur and various unidentified fragments.
