Genus: Nova? = Hoplitosaurus (?) sp BODILY, 1970 (= cf. Sauropelta sp CARPENTR, KIRKLAND, BURGE & BIRD, 1999)

Holotype: BYU-R245

Locality: Bodily Quarry, from a low cliff along the west side of Little Valley, on the southwest flank of the Salt Valley anticline, in Sec. 18, T. 23S, R20E, almost due east of a microwave tower near Canyonlands Airport,
approximately 10 miles south of Crescent Junction and 21 miles north of Moab, Grand County, Utah.

Horizon: Member? Cedar Mountain Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Age? Aptian-Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: 7 caudal vertebrae, numerous armor plates and scutes, 3 chevrons, a portion of a rib and two large bone fragments.
Note: This specimen has gone back and forth regarding it being a valid new genus or of an already known one.
