Etymology: In reference to Lishui, Zhejiang Province, China, where the specimen was found.

Holotype: ZHMNH M8718

Locality: Liancheng, Lishui, 28°28'36.4"N, 119°51'54.3"E, Zhejiang Province, China.

Horizon: Chaochuan Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Cenomanian Stage, Uppermiddle Gallic Subepoch, Lowermost Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material: Sacrum consisting of 8 vertebrae, complete right ilium, proximal end of ischium and complete pubis, partial left ilium, 2 complete hind limbs, 14 caudal vertebrae and some unidentified bones.
