Holotype: NMNH R2598

Locality: 20 miles to the eastward of the bay of Narinda, Madagascar.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Bathonian Stage, Middle Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Material: Mid dorsal vertebra.

Referred material:

NHM R2596-2615, R16588, R16589: Dorsal, sacral, and caudal vertebrae, elements of the pectoral and pelvic girdles, a partial humerus, fragments of the hind limbs. Material represents a minimum of 3 individuals, based on duplication of elements and size differences (MANNION, 2010).
