Genus: Campananeyen LERZO, FERNANDEZ-BALDOR, CANALE, WHITLOCK, OTERO & GALLINA, 2024
Etymology: In reference to "Las Campanas locality", where the remains wre found and Manpudungu, neyen (n'eyen'), "air": in allusion to the great pneumaticity of the new species.

Etymology:
Latin, fragilissimus, "the most fragile"; in allusion to the thin ilium.
Holotype: MMCh-PV 71
Locality: 'Barda Atravesada de Las Campanas' locality, Willa El Chocon, Neuquen Province, Patagonia, Argentina.
Horizon: Candeleros Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Lower Cenomanian Stage, Late Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.
Material: Braincase, quadrate, posterior dorsal neural arch, partial sacral vertebra, fragment of sacral neural spine, posterior caudal vertebra, right ilium, fragments of the ldft ilium and indeterminate fragments of ilium, ungual phalanx 1 and ungual phalanx 2.
