Etymology: In referecne to Yimen County, China, where the type locality is located.

Holotype: CVEB 21901

Locality: Jiaojiadian area B, near Zhanmatian villge, Shijie Township, Yimen County, Yuxi Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.

Horizon: Upper Member, Fengjahe Formation

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Jurassic

Material: Partial left maxilla, partial right dentary, 3 isolated teeth, 5 partial cervical vertebrae, 3 partial dorsal vertebrae, a dozen vertebra fragments, more than 50 dorsal rib fragments, neary complete right scapulocoracoid, and a partial left one, nearly complete right humerus, and a partial left one, nearly complete right ulna and partial left one, complete right radius and partial left one, 2 partial manus with carpals, 2 distal ends of ischia, one parital pes ungual, and sevral unidentifiable fragments.
