Etymology: In reference the chesnut tree (Lishu) in Chinese spelling, and the name of the loclaity where the speicmen was found, and Chinese, long, "dragon".

Species: wangi ZHANG, JIA, WANG, ZHANG & YOU, 2024
Etymology: In honor of Mr. Zheng-Hu Wang, for his great contributions to the early discoveries of vertebrate fossils from Lufeng, China.

Holotype: LFGT-ZLJ0011

Locality:Near Jiudu Village, Konglongshan Town (formerly named Chuanjie Township), Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, China.

Horizon: Upper-middle part of the Shawan Member, Lufeng Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Sinemurian-Toracian Stage, Lias Epoch, Early Jurassic.

Material: Skull and lower jaws, axis and cervicals 2-10.
