Etymology:
Holotype: Section of Vertebrate Paleontology, Department of Geology, National Science Museum, Tokyo 169, Japan, NSM PV 17656
Locality: Moshi, Iwaizumi-cho, Shimohei-gun, Iwaki Prefecture (141°58’53”E, 39°50’01”N, Honshu Island, Japan.
Horizon: Tanohata Formation, Miyako Group.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Late Aptian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
Material: Fragmentary humerus.
Note: Was thought to belong to Mamenchisaurus sp? but now is considered to
be a Sauropoda incertae sedis.
