Etymology: Patago from Patagonia, southern South America, and Greek, Titan, a mythical giant.

Etymology: In honor of the Mayo family for their hospitality during fieldwork at the 'La Flecha' ranch, Chubut Province, Patagonia, Argentina.

Horizon: Cerro Barcino Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Latest Albian Stage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: 2 middle cervical vertebrae, 3 anterior, 2 middle and 2 posterior dorsal vertebrate, 6 anterior caudal vertebrae, 3 chevrons, dorsal ribs, both sternl plates, right scapulacorcoid, both pubes and both femora.
