Etymology: In reference to Jijiang District, China, where the type sepcimen was collected and is accessioned, and Chinese, long, "dragon."

Etymology: In honor of Guokr (gu-HO-ke-r), science social network: 'nutshell' in Chinese, for their support of paleontology in Qiijiang.

Holotype: QJGPM 1001

Locality: Beidu site, 29°0'25"N, 106°34'55"E, Qijiang Petrified Wood and Dinosaur Footprint National Geological Park, Qijiang District, Chongqing Municipality, China.

Horizon: Suining Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Jurassic.

Material: Skull roof, braincase, right pterygoid, fragments of right antorbital elements (lacrimal, mailla, palatine, ectopterygoid), right postoribtal, and right quadrate, a complete cervical series, thoracic dorsal series, distal caudal series, numerous fragments of the neural arches, numerous rib fragments, numerous hameal arch fragments, left pubis and a pedal phalanx.
