Etymology: In honor of Juan Carlos Muñoz, director of the Paleontology Area of the "Carlos Ameghino" Museum in Cipolleti, for his long-term support of paleontological investigations in the region.

Locality: Salitral Moreno, 25 km from General Roca, Rio Negro Province, Patagonia, Argentina.

Horizon: Lower Member, Allen Formation, Lower Malargue Group.

Age: Allenian Tetrapoda Assemblage, Late Campanian-Early Maastrichtian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Locality: Cerro Matadero Site, 67°23'22.13"W, 39°30'27.08"S, locates within the Arriagada Farm, 70 km south from General Roca city, Rio Negro Province, Patagonia, Argentina. Note: This area is known as "Salitral Ojo de Agua" Agnolin et. al., 2012.

Horizon: Allen Formation.

Age: Maastrachtina Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material:

MPCN-PV-800: 12 cervical neural arch, indeterminate posterior cervical centrum and neural arch, neural arch of the second dorsal vertebra and a fragmentary ischium.
