Genus: Titanomachya PEREZ-MORENO, SALGADO, CARBALLIDO, OTERO & POL, 2024
Etymology: Greek mythology, is the battle fought by the Olympians aginast the Titans, in which the latter are defeated. Titanomachya honors that battle since it comes from teh time when the titnosaurs became extinct.

Note: The authors incorrectly coined the species name with a ‘male’ ‘i’ and it should be a ‘female’ ‘ae’.
Etymology: In honor of the late Dr. Olga Gimenez, who was the first female palaeontologist that studied the dinosaurs from Chubut Province, Argentina.

Holotypes: MPEF Pv 11547

Locality: North of Cerro Bayo Area, approximately 10 km south-west fo Bajada del Diablo, Chubut PRovince, Patagonia, Argentina.

Horizon: La Colonia Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age. Maastrichtian Stage, Late Senonian Subepoch, Late Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
