Etymology:
In honor of the paleontologist Giuseppe Leonardi, who dedicated greater part of his life to the study of the reptile ichnofauna from northeastern Brazil.

Locality: Areias Farm, Triunfo Basin, Triunfo County, Paraiba State, Brazil.
Horizon: Rio Piranhas Formation.
