  Etymology: In reference to the Maleri Formation from which the holotype was
discovered.
Holotype: ISI R 306
Locality: Near Nennal Village, 19°08'38"N, 79°43'00"E, Adilabad District, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh State, South India.
Horizon: Maleri Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Late Carnian to earliest Noriain Stage, Lower Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.
Material: A partial skull, several vertebrae, femur and astragalus.
Note: May be a lagosuchid (HECKER & LUCAS, (1998) 2000).
