Species: crurilongus MARTINEZ, COLOMBI, EZCURRA, ABELIN, CERDA & ALCOBER, 2025
Etymology: Latin, crus, "leg", and Latin, longus, "long," alluding to the proportionally elongated tibia and metatarsus.

Holotype: PVSJ 1085

Locality: Ischigualasto Provincal Park, Hoyada de Ischigualasto, San Juan Province, Argentina.

Horizon: Lower portion of the Cancha de Bochas Member, Ischigualsto Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Carnian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Partial skull and skeleton.
