Etymology: In honor of the late Hector Cabaza, founder of the Museo Municipal de Lamarque.

Holotype: MML 195

Locality: Bajo de Santa Rosa, 40°03'28"S, 66°48'03"W, approximately 90km southwest of Lamarque town, Rio Negero Province, Argentina.

Horizon: Allen Formation, Lower Malargue Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Allenian Tetrapoda Assemblage, Late Campanian-Early Maastrichtian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Right frontal and postorbital, lacrimals, maxillae and dentaries with teeth, right surangular and prearcticular, cervicals, 2, 5-8, dorsals 2 and 4, isolated ribs and gastralia, right humerus, manual ungual digit III, left pubic shaft, left femur, right tibia, astragalus, calcaneum, metatarsal III, and pedal phalanges I-2, II-2, III-4, IV-2.
