Etymology: From Camaraillas, Teruel Province,
Aragon, Northeastern Spain, the name of the locality and formation where the
bones were found, and Greek, sauros, 'reptile'.
Species: cirugedae SANCHEZ-HERNANDEZ & BENTON, 2014
Etymology: In honor of Pedro Cirugeda Buj, for his surname.
Holotype: MPG-KPCI-46
Locality: Fuente Arnar outcrop, near Camarillas village, Teruel Province, Aragon, Northeastern Spain.
Horizon: Camarillas Formation.

Age: Lower Barremianstage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
Material: A partial tooth, and associated isolated vertebrae, ribs, and limb elements.

MPG-KPCI-5, 6: An almost complete chevron.
MPG-KPCI-7: An almost complete presacral rib.

MPG-KPCI-9: A posterior cervical or anterior dorsal rib.
MPG-KPCI-13: Four mid-posterior caudal vertebrae.
MPG-KPCI-14, 15, 19: 3 broken anterior caudal vertebral centra.
MPG-KPCI-16, 18: 2 sacral vertebral centra.
MPG-KPCI-17, 20: 4 broken dorsal centra.
MPG-KPCI-21: Almost complete mid-dorsal vertebra.
MPG-KPCI-22: A broken portion of a vertebral centrum.
