Species: wetherilli (WELLES, 1954) WELLES, 1970
Etymology: In honor of the late John Withal of Kayenta, Arizona, explorer, friend of
scientist and trusted trader and counselor to the Navaho whose nephew, Milton,
first told Samuel Welles and others of the specimen.

Locality: UCMP V-4214 center of flat valley of purplish blocky shale about 200 yards northeast of road fence at dinosaur track locality which is on the road to Moenave 0.15 miles north of the highway (Navajo 1) to Tuba City, Moa Ave 1, Lat. 36°8'43"N, Long. 111°19'12"W, Coconino County, Arizona.
Horizon: Kayenta Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: ?Sinemurian-Pliesbachian Stage, Middle Lias Epoch, Middle Early Jurassic.
Material: A juvenile represented by a nearly complete skeleton.
Note: Paleopathology, A horizontal sulcus just below the prezygapophyseal facets on the anterior face of the neural arch of cervical 5, also 2 pits were found on the entotubrosity of the right humerus. As per SENTER, & JUENGST, 2016, Right radius and ulna with three bony tumors, humerii with broken and healed, left scapula wiht fracture, left and right manual phalanx III-1 broken, distal ends of left and right metacarpal III broken, left manual phalanx I-1 broken and healed fibriscesses, left ulna broken with healed fibriscess and abnormal bony growth, left radius and ulna with healed fratures.
Paratype:
UCMP 37303: Similar sized juvenile represented by; both premaxillae, maxillae, and lower jaws, several vertebrae and other parts of the skeleton.
