Locality: West Jersey Marl Company Pit, about 2 miles south of Barnsboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey.

Horizon: "Chocolate Greensand bed" or New Egypt Formation, Monmouth Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Maastrichtian Stage, uppermost Senonian subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Right maxillary fragment, right dentary fragment, prearticular, 9 caudal vertebrae, right humerus, manual phalanges I-1, I-2 and Il-2, left and right pubes, right ischial fragment, left humerus, left femur, left tibia, left fibula, astragalus, and numerous fragments.

Note: These numbers were referred to the type: 9996, 10005, 10006, 10007.

Note: As per Galligher, 1990…AMNH purchase of 1902-left metatarsal IV, evidently from Type ANSP 995. AMNH 2438 also contains a smaller shaft bone with ends broken off. Locality given; “West Jersey Marl Pit, Barnsboro, Mantua Twp., Gloucester Co., NJ. Collr. E. D. Cope. 1870-75. ” This bone may also be part of the holotype…
